A) What is the providence of God?
1) God preserves all things (apples remain apples)
2) God governs or directs all things (to the good purposes to their end for His glory)
3) God cooperates with all things (concurrence - God created things to do & be and God cooperates with those things to do or be as He created them to do/be)
B) Why does it matter?
1) We can be patient when things go against us
2) We can learn thankfullness when all things go wrong
3) We can have the assurance / confidence that God will stand with us
